Madison's fireworks will be held on July 3rd. We'll take a short walk over to the Warner Park overlook at dusk to catch them.

Golden Knights

Rhythm & Booms is the largest annual single day event in Wisconsin, featuring “world class” fireworks, choreographed to music broadcast on WOLX 94.9 FM, beginning at 9:30 PM. The world famous U.S. Army Golden Knights precision parachute team will entertain with shows at 5:30 and 9:10 PM. The night show will include burning pyrotechnics like a meteor shower. The Midwest’s largest fireworks show will feature new effects like rainbow candles, variegated meteor & swimming mines, and doubledheart patterns choreographed to music from “Avatar” and “Green Zone”, greatest hits from Aaron Neville and Michael Jackson, and the traditional patriotic finale with the Army Guard Howitzer cannons in the 1812 Overture. For details, see Rhythm And Booms.

First, come for a potluck and cookout (rain or shine), hosted by Eric and Mike. Brats and hot dogs, plus drinks will be provided by the Club. Bring a side dish, salad or dessert to share. Participate in stimulating conversation or enjoy a movie until it is time to walk over to the big hill overlooking Warner Park to view the show.

After the fireworks, return to our hosts for desserts. We're welcome to stay, watch movies, play cards, chat...until the traffic clears.
